Nasdaq, S&P top 1 percent as bargains tempt

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stocks rebounded on Thursday, with gains on the Nasdaq and S&P 500 topping 1 percent as bargain-hungry investors bought shares beaten down by three straight days of declines.
