Merkel on Greece, Italy: situation fragile - source


    BERLIN (Reuters) - German Chancellor Angela Merkel told parliamentarians from her Christian Democratic Union that the situation on Greece and Italy was "extremely fragile," a party source present at the briefing said on Monday.

    "The situation is extremely fragile," the source, speaking on the condition of anonymity quoted Merkel as saying.
