Wall Street extends gains after U.S. data



    NEW YORK (Reuters) - U.S. stocks slightly extended gains on Monday after U.S. data on manufacturing and construction spending.

    The Dow Jones industrial average was up 46.54 points, or 0.36 percent, at 12,857.08. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index was up 4.99 points, or 0.37 percent, at 1,368.60. The Nasdaq Composite Index was up 6.56 points, or 0.23 percent, at 2,880.10.
