Stock futures tick higher ahead of open



    NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stock index futures turned positive on Thursday as Brent and U.S. crude oil futures slipped from highs and data showed weekly jobless claims fell and January durable goods orders rose.

    S&P 500 futures rose 0.8 point and fair value, a formula that evaluates pricing by taking into account interest rates, dividends and time to expiration on the contract, was flat. Dow Jones industrial average futures gained 7 points and Nasdaq 100 futures added 6.5 points.
