Nasdaq turns negative


    NEW YORK (Reuters) - U.S. stocks pared gains in early Monday trade, with the Nasdaq index turning negative weighed by Amazon and Priceline .

    The Dow Jones industrial average was up 24.64 points, or 0.22 percent, at 11,217.22. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index rose 1.78 points, or 0.15 percent, at 1,200.99. The Nasdaq Composite Index was down 0.84 points, or 0.03 percent, at 2,517.37.
