Wall St gains ground, Nasdaq turns positive


    NEW YORK (Reuters) - U.S. stocks cut declines on Wednesday, with the Nasdaq turning positive as healthcare and technology shares gained ground.

    * The Dow Jones industrial average was off 9.00 points, or 0.09 percent, to 10,031.45. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index slipped 2.80 points, or 0.27 percent, to 1,049.07. The Nasdaq Composite Index added 1.08 points, or 0.05 percent, to 2,124.84.
