Wall St falls after weak outlooks drag



    NEW YORK (Reuters) - U.S. stocks sagged in volatile trading on Thursday after weak outlooks from technology companies and downbeat comments from a Federal Reserve official gave investors little reason to buy.

    * Based on the latest available figures, the Dow Jones industrial average slipped 31.03 points, or 0.30 percent, to 10,466.85. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index lost 4.63 points, or 0.42 percent, to 1,101.50. The Nasdaq Composite Index shed 12.87 points, or 0.57 percent, to 2,251.69.
