Indexes slip on retail and euro weakness



    NEW YORK (Reuters) - U.S. stocks extended losses on Thursday, as disappointing sales results for May pulled retailers' shares lower and the euro weakened further. .

    The Dow Jones industrial average dropped 63.64 points, or 0.62 percent, to 10,185.90. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index fell 5.29 points, or 0.48 percent, to 1,093.09. The Nasdaq Composite Index lost 3.21 points, or 0.14 percent, to 2,277.86.
