Wall Street falters as tech and retailers weigh



    NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stocks cut gains on Tuesday, with the S&P 500 and Nasdaq turning negative as technology and retail shares weighed.

    The Dow Jones industrial average added 20.93 points, or 0.20 percent, to 10,646.76. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index dipped 0.11 points, or 0.01 percent, to 1,136.83. The Nasdaq Composite Index fell 15.29 points, or 0.65 percent, to 2,338.94.
