World Bank approves 917 million pound loan for Poland

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The World Bank on Monday approved a 975 million euro (917 million pound) loan for Poland to support the government's fiscal reform program.

"The loan ... will support the government's plans to enhance the quality and efficiency of public finances, increase the supply of relevant and skilled labour and strengthen the business environment," the World Bank said in a statement.
