Greek leftists Syriza stretch poll lead as election day looms
The University of Macedonia survey for Greece's SKAI television indicated that Syriza, which wants to renegotiate a chunk of Greek debt and end austerity measures, would win 33.5 percent of the vote, up from 31.5 percent in a poll conducted last week.
Prime Minister Antonis Samaras' New Democracy party, which has pushed through unpopular reforms as part of an international bailout, was unchanged on 27 percent, according to the pollster.
