Loud explosion heard in Syrian capital


    AMMAN (Reuters) - A loud explosion was heard in the Syrian capital Damascus on Friday, residents said, although it was not clear what had caused the blast.

    One anti-government activist told Reuters in neighbouring Lebanon the blast was in an industrial area near the Old City.
