Denmark rejects adoption of EU laws - results after 51 pct vote counted


    COPENHAGEN (Reuters) - Denmark on Thursday was likely to reject proposals to adopt more European Union laws in a referendum on the 28-member bloc's justice and home affairs rules, with over 50 percent of the vote counted so far.

    The "no" vote was ahead by 54.6 percent in a vote that tested for the first time in 15 years whether the nation wants to integrate further with the 28-member bloc or continue to keep its distance.
