Air strikes and combat kill 176 in Yemen, highest daily toll so far

SANAA (Reuters) - Arab air strikes and clashes killed an estimated 176 fighters and civilians in Yemen on Monday, residents and media run by the Houthi movement said, in a spike in violence as warring factions discuss a possible humanitarian truce.

If confirmed, the incidents would make Monday Yemen's deadliest day since Arab coalition bombing began on March 26.
