Bomb targets Egypt's public prosecutor, casualties unknown - sources


    CAIRO (Reuters) - A bomb targeting the car of Egypt's public prosecutor exploded on Monday in a Cairo neighbourhood, security sources said, but the extent of damage and injuries was not immediately clear.

    The judiciary has increasingly been targeted by Islamist militants opposed to the government of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and apparently angered by hefty sentences handed down to Muslim Brotherhood members.
