Switzerland says approves extradition of Naser Oric to Bosnia


    ZURICH (Reuters) - The Swiss government will extradite wartime Muslim defender of Srebrenica Naser Oric to Bosnia, the Federal Office of Justice said on Thursday.

    "In simplified proceedings, the Federal Office of Justice today approved the extradition of Naser Oric to Bosnia and Herzegovina," the Swiss justice office said in a statement.

    Oric was arrested two weeks ago on a warrant issued by Serbia over the alleged killing of Serbs during Bosnia's 1992-95 war. Both Bosnia and Serbia requested his extradition.
