Suicide bomber targets Nigerian church, several dead, wounded


    LAGOS (Reuters) - A suicide bomber blew himself up at a church in a remote part of northern Nigeria on Sunday and there were a number of dead and wounded, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) said.

    The bomber struck at a centre of worship in the Wunti area of Bauchi state, Yushua Shuaib, a NEMA spokesman said.

    "Rescuers have evacuated the dead and injured to the University Teaching Hospital. The casualty figure can't be determined yet," he said.
