Strong quake shakes Chile capital - Reuters witness


    SANTIAGO (Reuters) - A powerful earthquake struck the Chilean capital Santiago on Monday, a Reuters witness said.

    The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake measured 6.6 in magnitude and was located 30 miles north-northeast of Valparaiso at a depth of 41.9 miles.
