Man throws firebomb at Japan foreign ministry


    TOKYO (Reuters) - A man threw a Molotov cocktail at Japan's Foreign Ministry headquarters in central Tokyo on Wednesday and then stabbed himself, Japanese media said.

    A Foreign Ministry official said a man had attacked thebuilding, but was not aware of any details. Police declinedcomment.

    Kyodo news agency said after hurling the firebomb, the manstabbed himself in the stomach in an apparent suicide attempt,quoting the police.
