Blast at Ukraine mine kills 16 - report


    MOSCOW (Reuters) - A blast at a mine in the Lugansk region of Ukraine killed at least 16 miners on Friday, Interfax reported, citing the country's Emergencies Ministry.

    Ten people were still unaccounted for.

    The explosion occurred at 1:57 a.m. local time, and two miners were hospitalised.
