Yemen President Saleh alive, Sanaa official says


    SANAA (Reuters) - Yemen's President Ali Abdullah Saleh is alive, Sanaa's deputy mayor told a TV broadcaster on Friday, after Yemeni opposition TV reported he had been killed in an attack on the presidential palace.

    "The president is well and is good condition," Yasser al-Yamani told Al Arabiya TV.
