Armed man takes 15 children hostage at French nursery


    PARIS (Reuters) - An armed man took some 15 children hostage at a nursery school in the eastern French city of Besancon, a police source said on Monday.

    France Info radio said the hostage-taker was armed, unstable and aged 17. He initially took 20 children hostage, but five had been released, the police source said.
