Tropical Storm Lisa is upgraded to a hurricane


    WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Tropical Storm Lisa has been upgraded to a hurricane with maximum sustained winds of 75 miles per hour but remains far from land, the National Hurricane Center said on Friday.

    The storm is in the Atlantic Ocean about 385 miles northwest of the Cape Verde islands and is moving north, the center said.
