USGS reports 6.3 magnitude quake in Bering Sea
Officials in Anchorage, Alaska, said they did not feel the quake. The West Coast and Alaska Tsunami Warning Centre said there was no watch, warning or advisory for the temblor.
The USGS downgraded the quake from an earlier 6.7 magnitude. It reported a 6.0-magnitude aftershock five minutes after the initial quake at 4:11 p.m. PDT (2311 GMT).
