Six killed in hospital blast in Pakistan
A member of parliament from the ruling Pakistan People's Party were among the wounded in the attack, outside the emergency ward of the hospital, officials said.
"According to initial reports six people have been killed and several people are being treated for wounds," said a police official.
The bomber struck as people gathered outside the emergency ward where the body of a Shi'ite man killed in a drive-by shooting had been brought.
No one immediately claimed responsibility for the attack, but most of the violence in the past has been blamed on Baluch separatists waging a decades-long low-level insurgency in Baluchistan, Pakistan's biggest and poorest province. Sectarian violence has also claimed several lives in the province.
