North Korea frees South worker held since March

SEOUL (Reuters) - North Korea on Thursday released a South Korean worker it had held since late March at a joint factory park for allegedly insulting the state's communist leaders, various local media reported.

The release will likely ease tension between the rival Koreas and comes after former U.S. President Bill Clinton last week went to Pyongyang to win the freedom of two U.S. journalists also held since March for suspected illegal entry.
