NY governor says 12 or 13 dead in shooting


    NEW YORK (Reuters) - New York Governor David Paterson said 12 or 13 people were killed when a gunman opened fire on Friday at immigrant centre in the city of Binghamton, New York.

    "An individual went into an American civic services centre .... and has killed 12 or 13 people," Paterson said.
