AOL RED Signs Mobile Deal with MoMedia International to Distribute Chubby Butter Animated Cartoons Worldwide



    AOL RED, the online home for teens, has signed a distribution deal
    with MoMedia International to offer a series of "Chubby
    Butter" cartoons to the international mobile marketplace. The parties
    plan to make, approximately 30 shorts running one-to-three minutes
    available to over 100 operators for distribution in more than 35
    countries. Currently available at www.chubbybutter.com, cartoons such
    as "Bezerkari" and "Gene the Boy Genie" offer twisted and silly humor
    to the teen market.

    Downloads of the Chubby Butter cartoons will be available through
    a number of providers, including Vodafone UK and MTS Russia and will
    cost anywhere from GBP 0.50 - GBP 1 depending on each particular
    territory.

    "This deal represents a new distribution platform for AOL RED as
    we look to expand to the international market by tapping into the huge
    success of cell phone downloads," said Malcolm Bird, Senior Vice

    partnership with MoMedia International, we will build interest in the
    'Chubby Butter' series of cartoons while capturing the large teen
    market in territories beyond the U.S. marketplace."
