Diskeeper Corporation and Apacer Introduce Revolutionary SSD+Optimizer With Hyperfast TM Technology toMaximize Drives´ Performance

Diskeeper® Corporation Europe announces that its ground breaking technology alliance with NAND Flash Hardware leader Apacer Technology Inc resulted in the introduction of SSD+ Optimizer, the world´s first Solid State Drive (SSD) optimization solution designed to improve reliability and durability, leading the way to an innovative new generation of SSD performance solutions.

The SSD is a revolutionary application of NAND flash memory, which overshadows traditional hard disk drives in terms of weight, size and temperature control. SSDs are foreseen to be the wave of the future in data storage.

However, it is a misconception that SSDs´ performance never decreases over time: in fact, because of free space fragmentation, performance of all SSDs can degrade as much as 80%.

To insure that SSDs stay at peak performance at all times, Diskeeper and Apacer developed Hyperfast exclusively for the new SSD+ Optimizer product. By intelligently eliminating performance degrading free space fragmentation through specific optimization techniques, HyperFast Flash technology actually reduces the aggregate erase–write cycles the SSD would otherwise incur during normal usage. In addition to performance benefits, SSD+ Optimizer offers increased SSD longevity.

HyperFast´s proprietary operations utilize revolutionary technology called InvisiTasking®. InvisiTasking employs only unused system resources to operate with zero overhead on the system, therefore transparently increasing the speed, performance and reliability of the system.
