Infogrames Entertainment Annual and Special Stockholders' Meeting Convened on Second Notice for Thursday, October 12, 2006

Notice is hereby given to the stockholders of Infogrames
Entertainment (Paris:IFG) (NASDAQ:ATAR) that the Annual and Special
Stockholders' Meeting convened on first notice for September 29, 2006
will not take place because quorum requirements were not met.

The Meeting will therefore be convened on second notice for:

    -0-
    *T
    Thursday, October 12, 2006 at 5:00 p.m.
    at the Hilton Hotel
    Salon Tete d'Or
    70 Quai Charles de Gaulle
    69006 Lyon
    *T

It should be noted that the special stockholders' meeting will be
called upon to vote on resolutions relating to the implementation of
the plan to refinance the Company's overall debt, as announced on
    September 12.

The plan proposed by Infogrames' Board of Directors aims to
resolve the company's debt problem by reducing debt to historically
low levels. Infogrames' current net debt of EUR 197 million has
seriously handicapped the company's performance and limited its future
    growth.

The proposed plan would also improve Infogrames' cash balances,
thus enabling the company to focus on its industrial business and
capitalize on the release of next-generation consoles.

Strong stockholder support is essential for the success of the
debt refinancing plan, which would help shore up Infogrames' finances
and enable the company to focus its efforts and resources on the
    future.

All documentation relating to the Meeting can be obtained at
www.atari.com / Infogrames Ent. IR, or upon request from the Company's
principal office at 1 Place Verrazzano, 69252 Lyon cedex 09.
