ExxonMobil Gas & Power Marketing President Phil Dingle Announces Retirement after 36 Years of Service



    Mr. Philip J. Dingle, 58, president of ExxonMobil Gas &
    Power Marketing Company, has elected to retire after more than 36
    years of service.
    It is anticipated that the Board of Directors of Exxon Mobil
    Corporation (NYSE:XOM) will appoint Mr. Andy P. Swiger as president,
    ExxonMobil Gas & Power Marketing Company, and elect him a vice
    president of the Corporation effective October 1, 2006. Mr. Swiger,
    50, is currently executive vice president, ExxonMobil Production
    Company.
    Since 2003, Mr. Dingle has been responsible for commercial
    development, marketing and purchasing of natural gas, LNG, natural gas
    liquids, associated products and electrical power for ExxonMobil.
    During his career, Mr. Dingle held a number of domestic and
    international assignments including chairman and CEO of Esso Malaysia
    and president of ExxonMobil Saudi Arabia in Riyadh.
    Mr. Swiger joined the company in 1978 and also held a number of
    senior domestic and international management positions in both
    refining and production. In 1999, he became president and general
    manager of Mobil Oil Canada. Following the ExxonMobil merger, he was
    appointed corporate production advisor, Exxon Mobil Corporation. Mr.
    Swiger moved to London in September 2001 as vice president for Africa,
    ExxonMobil Production Company. In 2003, he became chairman and
    production director for ExxonMobil International Limited with
    responsibility for production in Europe and the Post Soviet States.
    He assumed his current responsibilities in May 2004.
