Revolutionary Broadband Applications and Services Fill IEC's Sold-Out Exhibition Floor at the Broadband World Forum Europe

More than 100 top vendors from around the globe will
come to Paris to exhibit at the IEC's sold-out Broadband World Forum
Europe Exhibition at the CNIT La Defense in Paris 9-12 October with
French incumbent operator, France Telecom, as the official host
    sponsor.
Attendees will witness the latest broadband technologies,
equipment, applications, solutions and services, focusing on enabling
operators to keep implementation costs down and maximize return on
infrastructure investment. The InfoVision Awards winners, judged to be
the most successfully-deployed broadband products, services, and
applications will also be featured at the Broadband World Forum Europe
    Exhibition.
"The floor was 90 percent sold out along with every sponsorship
opportunity in May and this is a strong indication of the excitement
throughout the industry for the Broadband World Forum Europe,"
commented IEC President John Janowiak. "We are giving no excuse to
those who want to attend -- all industry professionals and students
can obtain an Exhibits Plus Pass, which grants full access to the
exhibit floor at no cost. In addition, each Exhibits Plus Pass grants
admission to networking receptions and a sampling of our world-class
programming such as Keynote Addresses and Plenary Panels. Anyone with
an interest in information and communications technology should be in
    Paris next month."
Attendees can also expect the most recent developments from
sponsors such as France Telecom, Siemens, Alcatel, Accenture,
Ericsson, Huawei, Cisco, ECI, Italtel, Keymile, Motorola, NEC,
PacketFront, ZTE, ADVA, AVM, Nokia, Pirelli, Tellabs, Visionael, Texas
    Instruments, Operax and Redback Networks.
More than 14 TecPreviews will take place on the floor's TecPreview
theatre providing an in-depth look and key insight into the basics,
trends, and developments of new technology areas in a theatre-style
    venue.
The EuroCableNET Technology Demonstration, an educational and
technical exhibit will also take place at the forum. Showcasing
technologies for the cable television industry, cable providers will
gain a thorough understanding of what they can deliver to consumers by
    exploring this unique pavilion.
    The co-located WiMAX Global ComForum
(www.iec.org/events/2006/wimax/) will also feature many WiMAX
    technologies.
