Diligent Technologies Partners with COMPAREX to Provide Europe with Enterprise-Class Data Protection Solutions

Partnership with COMPAREX Deutschland GmbH will offer Diligent's
full range of data protection offerings to 11 different countries

Diligent Technologies Corporation, a leading provider of
enterprise data protection solutions, today announced at the Storage
Networking World Europe 2006 event (www.snweurope.com) taking place in
Frankfurt, Germany September 4 - 6th, that COMPAREX, an independent
group of companies represented in 11 European countries, have entered
into a reseller agreement where Diligent's entire line of Data
Protection solutions will be made available to enterprise customers in
Europe. COMPAREX has over 30 years of experience in the design and
integration of infrastructure-based solutions for data centers.
COMPAREX designs individual solutions that meet the specific
requirements of their clients, by integrating hardware, software and
the services of their consultants and system-engineers; from
consulting and planning to implementation and management of their
clients' IT Systems.

capacity by up to 25 times or more, while ingesting data at upwards of
200 MB/s. Powered by HyperFactor(TM), the industry leading data
de-duplication technology, ProtecTIER enables enterprises to eliminate
redundant data resulting in a large-scale reduction in the amount and
cost of physical storage required. ProtecTIER is offered with a
virtual-tape interface that appears to the backup application as a
real tape library.
In addition, COMPAREX will reseller Diligent's VTF Open, the
industry's most scalable Virtual Tape Library software for open
systems and VTF Mainframe a software solution that virtualizes disk as
tape on mainframes, and solves performance, scalability and
reliability problems that others in the industry do not address.
