Leading Infrastructure Vendor Licenses Adamind Media Adaptation Software for Its Service Delivery Platform

Agreement enables world's largest mobile infrastructure provider to
expand deployment of Adamind's Spire(TM) Platform to a range of
    content services beyond MMS

Adamind Ltd. (LSE:ADA) (Adamind or the "Company"), a global
supplier of software that enables mobile multimedia content and
converged communications services to be experienced over any device or
network, announces that a leading infrastructure vendor and an Adamind
channel partner, has entered a new licensing agreement to expand the
deployment of Spire(TM) Platform, Adamind's media adaptation software,
to a broad range of mobile content services.
The agreement is part of Adamind's strategy to leverage its
software solutions to new applications and markets. To date Adamind
Spire(TM) Platform has been deployed by the vendor solely for handling
multimedia messaging services (MMS). Under the new agreement,
Spire(TM) Platform has been adopted as a core part of the vendor's
Service Delivery Platform (SDP) and will be deployed for the media
adaptation of a broad range of new content applications beyond MMS,
including music and video downloads, Email, mobile browsing and
instant messaging. Adamind expects to announce further SDP related
deals during the course of 2006 and beyond.
Adamind will receive a set license fee per operator and expects
revenues to increase as operators deploy multiple mobile applications
and as service uptakes and traffic grows. Over the next 12 months
Adamind, in partnership with the vendor, is targeting approximately 10
operator customers for the deployment of the complete service delivery
    platform.
Shailendra Jain, CEO of Adamind, said: "The choice of Adamind
Spire(TM) as the media adaptation engine within the vendor's SDP is a
testament not only to our leading technology but also to the strength
of our relationships with our customers and channel partners.
Operators are investing significant amounts of capital and resources
in building advanced media services. By integrating Adamind Spire(TM)
Platform as part of the SDP environment, operators will be able to
enjoy pure media adaptation and in the near future be able to deploy
additional added-value media-handling features and solutions from
    Adamind."
Service delivery platforms (SDP) are horizontal network
architectures implemented on open standards and enable messaging &
content services providers to use common functions for supporting
multiple services such as security, storage and media adaptation among
others. By deploying SDPs, service providers can rapidly and
    cost-effectively deliver new, differentiated revenue-generating
services reducing the costs, timeframes and risks of developing,
deploying, delivering and managing service applications for mobile,
    fixed and broadband networks.
