MagicEvent.com Puts the Spark Back into Business Trips During Corporate Events

MagicEvent.com is offering trade fair organizers a white-label partnership to make it easier for exhibitors and visitors to travel. Using collaborative consumption resources, MagicEvent.com is proposing a new way to travel: business people can stay in studios, apartments or villas carefully selected to meet their expectations.

Trade fairs welcome thousands of exhibitors and visitors over the space of a few days, which puts considerable pressure on accommodation. When major international events are held, hotels are quickly swamped and fully booked long in advance, which means that visitors often have to stay far away from the exhibition center.

When arranging business trips, a company’s main concern is to keep costs under control; however, travelers’ comfort is also important as it directly affects their working day. Almost 32% of journeys are undertaken during conferences and 24% during events*. The average business trip lasts 3.5 nights, but it is often longer for trade fairs.

Days spent at the fair are particularly exhausting for exhibitors and visitors. Being able to take advantage of the tranquility and intimacy of a homestay in a nice area with shops and restaurants also enables you to enjoy your evenings. If you are travelling in a team, staying in an apartment with communal areas and private rooms means that you can meet in peace and quiet to assess the trade fair, and cook or to have food delivered without having to wait hours in a restaurant.

Launched in 2014 by Valéry Linÿer after a 20-year career in the event industry, MagicEvent.com most notably offers trade fair organizers a white-label partnership with dedicated access to accommodation selected for the event and the option to reserve this accommodation directly online. The organizers also have access to a back-office system which tracks the reservations and collects previously unseen marketing data on the clients: the amount they spend, the duration of their stay, the number of people, etc.

“This type of accommodation means you can reduce your spending by 30 to 60%, not including savings incurred on catering or transportation” explains Valéry Linÿer, CEO of MagicEvent.com
