Opalis Names New Veteran Executives to Manage Worldwide Sales and Strategic Alliances; Leading Provider of Automation Software for IT Operational Processes Poised for Growth in U.S. and Europe with Addition of Key Executives



    Opalis Software, Inc., the expert provider of enterprise
    software used to integrate and automate operational processes and
    achieve an automated data center, today announced the appointment of
    two key veteran executives in sales and strategic alliances, as it
    continues to grow and expand into new markets worldwide.
    Thomas Siegel has joined the company's executive team as vice
    president of worldwide sales. He brings to his role at Opalis two
    decades of experience in enterprise and channel software sales, as
    well as extensive experience in sales operations management in the
    United States and throughout Europe. Most recently, Mr. Siegel was
    vice president of global sales for Espial Inc., a leading provider of
    embedded software solutions to the IPTV industry. During his time at
    Espial, he restructured and rebuilt the sales organization, increased
    software revenues by over 300 percent, and developed strategic
    partnerships with Siemens, Motorola, and Sumitomo Electric.
    Opalis also named Harry France as director of strategic
    relationships. Mr. France brings 25 years of sales and marketing
    experience to the company. He joined Opalis from Mercury Interactive
    where he managed the Canadian region and achieved revenue growth of
    60% annually for over six years. Prior to that, he was vice president
    of Canadian sales for Merant Canada, the country manager at Lawson
    Software, and the director of business development at BCE Emergis.
