Motricity Deutschland Introduces German Versions of PalmGear.com, PocketGear.com and SymbianGear.com

New sites to feature applications with
    German descriptions, binaries

Motricity Deutschland, a division of Motricity, Inc., a global
leader in mobile marketplace management, announced today that it has
launched German versions of Motricity's direct to consumer Web sites
    PalmGear.com, PocketGear.com and SymbianGear.com. The new sites
further extend Motricity's consumer brands into the European mobile
    markets.
PalmGear.de, PocketGear.net and SymbianGear.de will each be hosted
in primarily German language and will feature software applications
with German descriptions. Most of the applications will also feature
German binaries. Each site will allow the user to select his or her
device prior to purchasing the software in order to ensure the
application will operate on the particular device the customer uses.
    PalmGear.de, PocketGear.net and SymbianGear.de will also feature
powerful advanced search engines to facilitate ease of use and faster
    search times for requested software.
    "PalmGear.de, PocketGear.net and SymbianGear.de each offer
features and functionality that expand upon the original
English-version sites to provide customers with an even greater user
experience when purchasing software for their handheld devices," said
Ralf Ockenfelds, general manager of Motricity Deutschland.
Motricity Deutschland owns Mobile2Day.de, a leading European site
hosting software applications, news, product tests, workshops and
other content for Palm OS, Pocket PC, Symbian OS and Java platforms.
Mobile2Day also manages PDA and Smartphone channels for other sites,
achieving more than 150 million visitors per month with PDA and/or
Smartphone content on T-Online, Tiscali, Toshiba, Siemens and download
    shops on other well-known sites.
