Accenture and Indus Assist PAKS Nuclear Power Plant Roll Out its Asset Management Solution

Accenture (NYSE: ACN) and Indus International Inc.
(NASDAQ: IINT) have helped PAKS Nuclear Power Plant (Paks NPP) roll
out its new asset management solution which was developed by Indus and
    implemented by Accenture.
This solution, based on Indus Asset Suite software, is designed to
help Paks NPP develop plant maintenance best practices. It also
provides the necessary maintenance components and historical
maintenance data to enable Paks NPP to obtain future licenses for the
    extension of its operations.
As part of the 15-month implementation, Accenture and Indus worked
with Paks NPP to streamline business processes and integrate and
    replace approximately 60 technical applications.
This solution is part of a wider program being implemented at Paks
NPP to increase efficiency, improve reliability, reduce operations and
maintenance costs, minimize maintenance, optimize inventory levels,
ensure general safety and regulatory compliance and extend the
    lifecycle of the plant.
The integrated technical solution covers a range of critical areas
of Paks NPP's business, including asset and work management modules,
which identify and generate work task requirements and priorities for
    all of the company's departments.
"This strategic project is the foundation for the next level of
asset management efficiency and operational safety," said Jozsef
Kovacs, CEO of Paks NPP. "We chose the Indus Asset Suite platform
because it is designed to operate within the nuclear sector and helps
us meet our business objectives of plant safety and efficiency, while
ensuring uninterrupted operations. We also selected Accenture because
of its experience and proven track record which is important to us as
we continue to provide approximately 40 percent of Hungary's energy
    supply in a reliable manner."
"After the first successful implementation phase, Accenture will
continue to build a long standing business partnership with Paks NPP
based on experience and mutual commitment," said Tibor Bacso, an
Executive Partner in Accenture's Utilities Industry Group. "We look
forward to helping Paks NPP achieve its strategic goals and improve
the capabilities needed to ensure continued, effective and safe
    operations of its power plant."
"Our partnership with PAKS highlights Indus' continued commitment
to and understanding of the highly complex nuclear sector," said Greg
Dukat, Indus president and CEO. "This was a significant project for us
which was completed on time and within budget jointly with Accenture.
The solution will enable PAKS to sustain a highly stable environment
with resulting improved service and productivity to set a high
standard for other European nuclear providers."
