Power Integrations to Present Key Innovations in Power Conversion at PCIM Europe 2006; ICs Simplify Design for Compliance With Worldwide Energy Efficiency Regulations

Power Integrations, Inc. (Nasdaq:POWI), the leader in
high-voltage analog integrated circuits for power conversion, will
showcase its latest innovations for energy-efficient power supply
design at PCIM Europe 2006, May 30 through June 1 in Nuremberg,
Germany. Power Integrations' ICs utilize the company's ENERGY STAR
award-winning EcoSmart(R) technology to intelligently manage supplied
power and dramatically reduce energy consumption in normal, standby
and no-load power modes. The company's ICs simplify the design of
power supplies to comply with all worldwide energy regulations, and
address power conversion applications from 1 W up to 200 W.

LinkSwitch(R)-XT integrated power supply conversion devices.
TinySwitch-III extends the feature-rich TinySwitch product line to
enable power supplies up to 36.5 W, addressing a wide range of
applications with a single flexible solution. PeakSwitch is an
industry-first off-line power conversion IC targeted for applications
requiring short-duration peaks of up to three times the rated power.
LinkSwitch-XT offers a simple, cost-effective energy-efficient
solution for chargers and adapters under 4 W requiring tight output
characteristics.
Visitors can also see a demo of the LCD applications made possible
with Power Integrations' DPA-Switch(R) family of devices, and a
printer demo showing the peak power capabilities available in
PeakSwitch. In addition, a short presentation, New Power Conversion
ICs Enable Peak Power Delivery in a Cost-Effective Energy-Efficient
Design, will be offered by a company spokesperson on Wednesday, May
31, at 4:40 in the PCIM Exhibit Hall 12, Booth 353.
