Make your bid for a power lunch with Warren Buffett, CEO of Berkshire Hathaway. The Annual Warren Buffett Lunch Charity Auction listed on eBay benefits San Francisco´s Glide Foundation. Last year´s winners bid over $650,000. Bidding for this year´s auction opens June 22nd at 7:00pm. PDT and closes June 27 at 7:00pm. PDT.

Each year, Buffett generously offers only one "power lunch" as a charity item. For the last nine years, the beneficiary has been Glide Foundation. Buffett has said of Glide´s Reverend Cecil Williams, "He has fed countless thousands, he has clothed them, he has taught them. Most importantly, he has changed their opinions of themselves."

"We are incredibly grateful to Warren for his consistent generosity and support," said Williams, Glide´s founder. "Warren´s gift allows us to reach out to even more people, providing food, shelter and spiritual comfort."

Last year´s winners, Mohnish Pabrai, Harina Kapoor and Guy Spier, paid $650,100 for the lunch with Buffett. This year´s winning bidder will be able to bring seven friends to the lunch. The bidding starts at $25,000 and bidders must pre–qualify through Kompolt, the online auction agency for creating successful, high–value, high–profile promotional and charity auctions. The lunch is listed through eBay Giving Works and hosted by Smith & Wollensky New York City, called "the steakhouse to end all arguments" by the New York Times. eBay Giving Works is one of eBay Inc.´s Global Citizenship Initiatives and empowers people to buy and sell for a cause. Alan Stillman, founder of Smith & Wollensky, has agreed to donate $10,000 to host the lunch.
