Panama Canal expansion work to restart on Thursday - source



    PANAMA CITY (Reuters) - Work on the multi-billion dollar Panama Canal expansion project, which has been on hold amid a cost row, will restart on Thursday, a person familiar with negotiations said.

    The consortium has agreed to restart first thing on Thursday, the person said.

    The Panama Canal Authority and the consortium of construction companies also have a window of up to 72 hours to agree on the rest of the issues that are under discussion, the person added.
