Graham Packaging Begins European Rollout of InfinityQS

InfinityQS® International, the leading provider of Statistical Process Control (SPC)

software, today announced that Graham Packaging Company, L.P. is

beginning its European rollout of InfinityQS quality solutions. Graham

Packaging, the global leader in packaging design, sale and

manufacturing, had standardized on InfinityQS SPC software in 2006

across 65 production plants, and this European implementation is the

next phase of the global quality control initiative.
To kick-off the implementation, Graham has engaged InfinityQS for

on-site training and consulting services in six manufacturing sites

across Europe. Additional sites will be added across Europe as Graham

continues to recognize true product quality and productivity

    improvements.
Prior to 2006, Graham Packaging had implemented individual SPC systems

at plants across the globe. When the packaging manufacturer sought to

establish full, seamless communication among all of its plants for an

enterprise wide quality program, the company decided to implement

InfinityQS software solutions, globally replacing their former ASI

    DataMyte/Quantum SPC system.
"When we tested the software against our

previous SPC provider, InfinityQS stood out as a solution that provided

full capabilities to production processes analysis as well as the

scalability to expand with our global needs," said David Shan, vice president, Global Continuous Improvement and

Quality for Graham Packaging. "We were looking

for a solution that met our high-level of quality requirements and

    InfinityQS software met our expectations."
The software is currently monitoring Graham Packaging´s

manufacturing processes in real-time, in more than 65 plants in the

United States, Canada and Mexico. Using sophisticated statistical

analysis and alarming features, the company is able to compare quality

data across lines in high-volume production environments.
"InfinityQS is working to measurably enhance

the quality management for Graham Packaging´s

entire world-wide manufacturing enterprise," said Michael Lyle, president and CEO of InfinityQS International. "This

manufacturer is responsible for the packaging of many of the

high-visibility brands that consumers use everyday. It is imperative

that their products meet very precise quality requirements."
