Last Call for Applications to Present at California Tech Showcase 2008



    Forty of the most promising California companies are being selected to

    present at the California Tech Showcase (CTS 2008, www.CaliforniaTechShowcase.com)

    being held in conjunction with the World Investment Conference in La

    Hosted by EuroStart Capital Partners LLC, a San Francisco-based venture

    fund, the CTS 2008 offers the opportunity for the most promising

    Californian companies to launch and accelerate their business in Europe.

    CTS 2008 sponsors include Dow Jones Venture Source, VLAB MIT/Stanford

    Venture Lab, Invest in Western France, Europe+ Foundation, Nair & Co.

    Inc., NYSE Euronext Stock Exchange, the State of California and Avenir

    Finances.
    The CTS 2008 selection committee includes senior executives from leading

    European companies such as Siemens, T-Mobile, British Telecom, SAP, ST

    Microelectronics, Burda, Electricite de France, Societe Generale, and

    Bouygues Telecom, among others.
    This high-profile event will allow selected companies to present to and

    meet with 200-300 CEOs, CIOs, and CTOs from Europe´s largest businesses.

    EuroStart will arrange at least five one-on-one meetings between

    selected companies and CxOs of the European qualify attendees. "This

    is an excellent opportunity for selected companies to identify potential

    clients, business partners, and investors. CTS 2008´s unique format will

    catalyze immediate revenue ramp-up in Europe," said Jean-Bernard Guerrée, Managing Director

    Selected companies will also attend the European Business Workshop

    featuring European experts on legal issues, business development, human

    resources, public relations, and cultural issues on April 30th.
    CTS 2008 will take place in conjunction with the World Investment

    Conference (WIC 2008, http://www.worldinvestmentconference.com which will feature hundreds of Corporate and political leaders from

    firms such as Sony, Freescale, EDF, Nokia, BT, Total, Siemens, as well

    as government officials and ministers from around Europe.
