UBS Voted Number One Pan European Equity House for Tenth Consecutive Year

UBS is today named the leading Pan European Equity house for a record tenth consecutive year, in the Thomson Reuters Extel Survey. The survey also ranked UBS number one in the equity trading and execution category for the fourth consecutive year. This year, UBS has also been ranked number one in Fixed Income and FX technical analysis and made significant progress in the growth areas of Emerging EMEA and Global Emerging Markets equity research.

Phil Allison, Head of EMEA Equities said "To remain the number one equity house for ten consecutive years is an outstanding achievement, particularly given the market and industry challenges that continue to test us. This excellent result is a great endorsement of the all-round strength of our European Equities business, and it would not have been possible without the support of our clients and the hard work and commitment of our employees."

Mark Stockdale, Head of European Equity Research commented "After 12 years of gold in research, it is naturally a bit disappointing to be pipped and get silver. However, we are thrilled to stay gold or silver medal winners for seventeen years in a row. Our research team retains the winning spirit and with forthcoming hires and new products in the pipeline, we continue to enhance our research offering and look forward to challenging number one next year."
