Lancer Expands Composites Portfolio with Addition of CeraComp®
Lancer Systems LP, an engineering and manufacturing group specializing in plastic, composite and fiber optic technologies, today announced they have acquired all assets and rights related to CeraComp®, a proprietary ceramic matrix composite technology for high temperature applications. CeraComp® technology was developed by Greene, Tweed & Co., Inc., a leading manufacturer of high-performance composites and integrated materials.

CeraComp® is a hard, lightweight, chemically resistant and thermally insulative composite material that provides improved structural integrity and fracture resistance compared to monolithic ceramics and is suitable for use in continuous operating environments whose temperature exceeds 600°C (1,100°F).
