Luminetx Launches GS Model

Luminetx Corp. today announced it has launched the next generation
of the VeinViewer - the VeinViewerGS. This "Global Standard" model was
specifically designed to meet the rigorous quality requirements for
    the international marketplace.

From today forward, the GS model will be offered to both
international and domestic clients as Luminetx´s flagship product.
According to the company, this model was born as a result of the
Luminetx global expansion strategy allowing Luminetx to market and
sell the VeinViewer outside of the United States.

"Clinically speaking, this is the same technological powerhouse
that´s been on the market for the last year," said Chris Schnee, vice
president of global marketing for Luminetx. "So our domestic clients
can rest assured that their current device is still as leading-edge
and as relevant as the GS model is today."

The VeinViewer is a vascular imaging system that allows
physicians, nurses and other health care professionals to clearly see
accessible vasculature (or lack thereof) in real time. The device uses
a combination of near-infrared light and patented technologies to
image vascular structures and projects their location directly on the
surface of the skin. This provides clinicians with a safe,
non-invasive adjunct technology for clinical treatments and procedures
including, but not limited to: IV insertions, PICC line insertions,
routine venipuncture (blood sampling), blood and plasma donations and
treatment for varicose and spider veins.

In December 2007, the VeinViewer technology received EC and ISO
13485:2003 certifications - thus allowing shipment to European
countries and continuing the expansion of the Luminetx global
strategy. International distribution contract negotiations and deals
are well under way, Schnee added, and the company expects first
overseas commercial shipments of the GS model within the next several
    weeks.

"This milestone signals our entering the international
marketplace, so this is an important day for our company and for
patients here in the United States and abroad," said Rodney Schutt,
chief operating officer at Luminetx. "As our company mission states:
´Every patient, Every time, Everywhere,´ this product evolution and
international outreach move us closer to our goal of bettering patient
    care worldwide."
