Cmed Clinical Services Strengthens Management Team

Cmed Clinical Services has today announced three new appointments to its management team to drive the company´s future growth.

Louise Eggleton has been appointed as Head, Global Clinical Operations. She joins Cmed with 20 years of clinical research experience and most recently held the position of Vice President, Global Clinical Operations at Paragon Biomedical. Prior to this, she led the International CRO Clinical Operations Business at i3 Research in her role as Vice President, Clinical Operations International and was responsible for the direction and performance of the International CRO business units. Louise will be based at the company´s headquarters in the UK and her wealth of global operations experience within the pharmaceutical and CRO industries will prove invaluable in leading the development and operation of Cmed´s clinical operations department.

Elisa Fatzinger, in her new role as Senior Director, Global Biostatistics will lead the operational and strategic direction of Cmed´s Biostatistics and Programming department and will be based in the UK office. She joins from ICON plc where she was Senior Director Biostatistics and Programming, EU and has previously been responsible for establishing and growing biometric / statistical groups around the world including Europe, USA and Asia Pacific regions. Having worked in the pharmaceutical and CRO industries for 25 years, Elisa will use her experience and expert understanding of the needs and expectations of both pharma and biotech clients to lead the continuing growth of this group.

Robert Murdock has taken responsibility for leading Cmed´s clinical operations department in the US in the role of Senior Director, US Clinical Operations. His medical affairs, clinical research and drug safety experience in both large and small pharma settings, including GSK, Salix, and Celgene Corporation, spans over 25 years. Most recently, he was Vice President of Clinical Operations and Global Drug Safety at Abraxis BioScience.
