PrivateFly.com Takes off in Europe

Private jet booking service PrivateFly.com has launched in France, Germany and Central Europe, offering dedicated local web platforms and multilingual operations teams.

This follows a period of strong UK sales growth for the business, which reported turnover in excess of target at the end of its financial year in May 2012 and was named the fastest growing private jet charter company in 20111. The company re-launched its UK website in May, with a dedicated iPad app to sit alongside its existing mobile applications.

Translated and localised versions of the platforms are being supported by strategic sales and marketing activities in each new market, and by establishing travel partner relationships. In the UK, PrivateFly provides private jet booking technology for partners including Addison Lee; Manchester Airports Group; and lastminute.com.

PrivateFly´s CEO and founder Adam Twidell, commented: "We already have many international customers, together with an established aircraft network in these markets. But PrivateFly´s translated platforms and multilingual teams now allow our European expansion to fully take off. Our focus is initially on the established French and German markets, and on other fast-growing markets in Central Europe, including Poland and the Czech Republic. We will extend our reach further later in the year".
