Echovox Appoints Ned Walley as Zong General Manager for EMEA



    Echovox, Inc, a leading multinational mobile media solutions
    provider servicing some of the world´s largest media groups, today
    announced that Ned Walley has joined the company as General Manager of
    Europe, Middle East and Africa for Zong. In his role, Walley will
    continue market expansion of Zong, Echovox´s premier open mobile
    platform for monetizing web content and mobile services. He will also
    be responsible for managing product and engineering teams to ensure
    all revenue opportunities are fulfilled. Walley will report to David
    Marcus, Echovox´s chief executive officer.

    "Ned Walley has forged significant relationships with a wide range
    of media companies, both traditional and online," said David Marcus,
    CEO of Echovox. "Ned´s experience in creating strong partnerships to
    drive substantial revenues is impressive; consistently generating tens
    of millions of dollars in annual revenue at Google bodes well for him
    in his new role with Echovox."

    Walley brings over 12 years of online and new media experience to
    Echovox. Before Echovox, Walley started the European Strategic
    Partnerships team at Google. As the first member of Google´s business
    development team in Europe, he defined and implemented Google´s
    strategic partnership strategy in major European markets. Prior to
    Google, Walley developed European expansion, product and management
    strategies for start-up Sharinga Networks, funded by AT&T´s Concert.
    Immediately preceding Sharinga, Walley was Director of Business
    Development and Director of European Product Development for
    LookSmart, where he led and managed the Business Development team,
    covering the largest strategic partnerships in the UK and Europe.
    Walley was also a member of the initial launch team of CNET and their
    Snap.com search engine and portal.

    Walley received two Bachelor´s of Arts degrees, East Asian Studies
    and Sculpture, from Union College in Schenectady, New York.
