Alcoa's quarterly profit plunges


    (Reuters) - Aluminum producer Alcoa Inc reported a second-quarter net loss on Monday as the price of the metal slumped to near two-year lows.

    It lost $2 million, or nil cents per share, compared with a profit of $322 million, or 28 cents per share, in the same quarter last year.
